Assuming Unit 4b is identical in demand to Unit 4a despite its longer paper and additional writing requirement.
Guardrail: Use Units 1-3 plus 4a for Single or Units 1-3 plus 4b, 5 and 6 for Double; never add weights or tasks across routes.
Answering the assessed task in English or translating away the Welsh wording, quotation, register, grammar or literary effect being assessed.
Guardrail: Do not translate away the assessed Welsh, bind optional texts universally or combine mutually exclusive award routes.
