Concept 1
Refrigerants can create pressure, cold-burn, toxicity, flammability or oxygen-displacement hazards depending on substance and location.
Exam cue: Identify the refrigerant and its hazards before opening or recovering from a system.

Systems require correct identification, electrical and mechanical isolation, controlled recovery, compatible equipment and leak-safe commissioning.
