Lift is the aerodynamic force that opposes weight and is shaped by airflow, angle of attack, wing design, and speed.
Drag
Drag resists motion through air and increases with shape, surface, speed, and configuration.
Thrust
Thrust propels an aircraft forward and must overcome drag for acceleration or sustained flight.
Weight
Weight acts downward through gravity and must be balanced by lift in level flight.
Control Surface

Stability
Stability describes an aircraft's tendency to return to or depart from equilibrium after disturbance.
Angle of Attack
Angle of attack is the angle between the wing chord and relative wind and affects lift and stall risk.

Critical Angle of Attack
