Exam cue: Pause at the final answer for an independent magnitude and device check.
Risk pitfalls and guardrails
Substituting a familiar concentration for the concentration given.
Guardrail: Do not select a familiar task if it ignores deterioration, consent, medicines risk, scope, communication or follow-up.
Skipping escalation when a calculated dose is clinically implausible.
Guardrail: Do not enter an intermediate value; confirm direction, final unit, precision and clinical plausibility.
