Concept 1
Confined-space entry should be avoided where possible and carried out only under a safe system addressing the specific foreseeable risks.
Exam cue: Confirm whether the place and specified risk make it a confined space even if the opening appears large.
Concept 2
Isolation, ventilation, atmosphere testing, competent people, communication and suitable equipment must match the space and work.
