Concept 1
A controlled change moves through request, initial evaluation, detailed evaluation, recommendation, decision, plan update and implementation; linear and iterative work may use different cadences and decision mechanisms.
Exam cue: Do not jump from a request directly to implementation; identify evaluation, authority and controlled updates.
Concept 2
A change request should identify the proposed change, reason, originator, urgency, affected baseline or configuration item and known consequences.
Exam cue: Assess the integrated impact, not only the dimension the requester wants to change.
Concept 3
Initial evaluation checks validity, duplication, authority and whether further analysis is proportionate.
Concept 4
Detailed evaluation compares options and impacts on benefits, scope, schedule, resources, cost, quality, risk, stakeholders, contracts and transition.

Governance uses the evidence to approve, reject or defer the request within delegated authority and documented rationale.

Approved changes require updated baselines, plans, schedules, configuration records and communication to affected stakeholders before controlled implementation.
